Vowsly respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Vowsly infringes your copyright, please send a written notification containing the following information to our Designated Agent:
Identification of Copyrighted Work
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
Identification of Infringing Material
The specific URL(s) or description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our service.
Your Contact Information
Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Good Faith Statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy Statement
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Your Signature
Your physical or electronic signature.

Subject Line: "DMCA Takedown Notice"
We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 24-48 hours. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the complainant
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us of a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Vowsly has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
A Note for Wedding Couples
As you plan your special day on Vowsly, please ensure that any content you upload (photos, music for wedding websites, vendor materials) does not infringe on others' copyrights. When in doubt:
- Use your own photos or hire a licensed photographer
- Get permission before using music on your wedding website
- Only upload vendor materials you have rights to share
- Credit photographers and vendors when displaying their work
